Improve Physical Health
Hypnotherapy can help with many aspects of physical health and a wide variety of medical conditions. Some clients come to me having already exhausted the route of conventional medicine, while others gain benefit by combining hypnotherapy with conventional treatments. Hypnotherapy can be effective even where other forms of treatment have failed. Clients may also come to find a ‘more natural’ solution than taking medication (for example, to reduce the use of sleep or pain medication). More generally, it is now widely recognized that emotional well-being is a key determinant of physical health. Where physical disorders have an emotional or psychological basis, hypnotherapy may be able to help even serious conditions; but it is an adjunct to conventional medical care, NOT a replacement. Hypnotherapy does not perform miracles, but there is good evidence that your own state of mind is critical in determining your ability to prevent, cope with and recover from illness and this I can help you with.
In assisting you, I am able to bring together a wealth of experience with established and effective techniques from, for example, stress management, hypnotherapy, meditation, neurolinguistic programming (NLP) and psychotherapy. These combine to form a powerful set of tools helping you reach a more balanced and healthier life. I can empower you to tap into your body’s innate healing resources, take responsibility for your on-going wellness and learn how to maximize your physical and mental wellbeing.
With over twenty years of experience as a hypnotherapist, I have worked successfully with a wide range of physical and medical issues, a selection of which is listed below. However, this list is not exhaustive, so even if your problem is not included please contact me to discuss how I can help you.
