Hypnotherapy can help with many aspects of physical health and a wide variety of medical conditions. Some clients come to me having already exhausted the route of conventional medicine, while others gain benefit by combining hypnotherapy with conventional treatments. Hypnotherapy can be effective even where other forms of treatment have failed. Clients may also come to find a ‘more natural’ solution than taking medication (for example, to reduce the use of sleep or pain medication). More generally, it is now widely recognized that emotional well-being is a key determinant of physical health. Where physical disorders have an emotional or psychological basis, hypnotherapy may be able to help even serious conditions; but it is an adjunct to conventional medical care, NOT a replacement. Hypnotherapy does not perform miracles, but there is good evidence that your own state of mind is critical in determining your ability to prevent, cope with and recover from illness and this I can help you with.
